Early Yamaha 62 alto and tenor saxophones are highly sought after. They are known as “purple logo” models because they feature a purple painted Yamaha logo on the bell rather than an engraved one.

This YAMAHA 62 alto recently underwent a complete overhaul and was just checked over in our SAXOPHONIC workshop. It plays wonderfully and offers a beautiful, warm, dark tone.

It is worth emphasizing that this instrument is in exceptionally good condition. Looking at this alto, you get the impression it is brand new—or at least in mint condition!
